involving or requiring strenuous effort; difficult and tiring.
I suck at keeping promises. Well, actually, I only lied that one time that I said, “I will post a blog once a month.” Let’s just say after the first month, I quickly became super overloaded and unable to keep my head above water.
Working, teaching, going to class, trying to stay on top of assignments AND running to catch public transportation was just a taste of what I juggle everyday. But, despite how busy I was, I learned a lot about myself through my tight support system (you guys are awesome by the way!) and work ethic.
I’m not about to say next semester is going to be a piece of cake, but I have a better grasp of what to expect and what I can handle.
Aside from that, I have been able to photograph a ton of people and places throughout the fall leading into these winter months. I also had the opportunity to follow April + VISTA to multiple shows, which was an awesome new experience.
Now that it’s the beginning of another year, some say 2016 was one of the worst years ever. I agree that 2016 was extremely challenging, but after reviewing ALL of the videos that I compiled throughout the last 12 months, I realized that there was so many terrific and wonderful moments. I put together my favorite videos of 2016, some of which you may have seen before, but a lot of it is brand new!
I want to thank all the people who allowed me to be in your face with the camera and for those who made this past year so special. Here’s to hoping this year has just as many great moments as 2016.
