Change (verb):

Make or become different.

This blog post is long overdue and I am so sorry to all my followers! I've had a couple big lifestyle changes, making it difficult to update my site.

My life updates:

  1. I started a new job, which I am in love with! This means I no longer have to suffer working in the middle of the night.
  2. Because of this change, I had a tough time adjusting back to a normal schedule for awhile.
  3. I moved! Because of my new job I had to move to a new city, which I love and hate (I am not a city gal, but its growing on me).

I also photographed my first wedding with an amazing couple that discovered me on my blog. I enjoyed capturing their special day and I desire to do more weddings in the near future! Click here to see my work.

This may sound super cheesy, but I feel much more alive nowadays than I did a couple months back. I really am experiencing life in a whole new way working in the day time, sleeping at night and touring the nation’s capital just a few miles away from my apartment.

Yes, there have been some hardships and probably more to come, but I had to ask myself: What do I want to accomplish? Am I happy? And if not, how do I change that?

These questions and the support from my family and friends helped me get to where I am now, and I am so proud of myself and ready to continue working towards more goals and happiness.

If things aren’t going right and you are feeling unhappy, ask yourself the same questions I asked myself. A great way to start a change is to write things down!

"Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the step."
