give new strength or energy to; reinvigorate.
I’ve slacked off.
Almost everyday for the past 6 months, I’ve said to myself, “I think I am going to blog today.” But, I didn’t do it. I’ve experienced one of the worst cases of blogger burnout. It’s not that I didn’t do it because I don’t like to or have nothing to say. But, because I have struggled to stay motivated to do it (and, balancing all of life’s challenges is kinda HARD!)
It seems that people on social media only share the good and not so much the bad or the ugly things that life likes to kick at us. No matter how perfect I’d like my Instagram to look … a picture perfect world does not exist.
Today I ask myself: What is my purpose on cyber space and why would anyone care?
I’ve thought long and hard about this and my answer is simple. I want to share my photos, videos and experiences with young broke adults like me, meet new people, learn from my readers and grow.
So, I guess the real question is how do I do just that?
By actually posting!
Since I took a break from cyberspace, I applied to graduate school and struggled with deciding the next best step to fulfilling my life goals. I’ve worked long hours to maintain a reliable reputation at work. I’ve accepted the fact that my lifestyle doesn’t allow much wiggle room to save money.
But on the flip side, taking break from blogging has allowed me to enjoy my friends, D.C. and other places, and develop an archive of content I’d like to share with you!
So recently I hit the refresh button and made a new video and added new #Summer16 photos.
My advice to you is to live a happy life being a thrill seeking broke adult trying to figure it all out.
"There is something incredibly hopeful about a fresh start."
